autumn wishlist 11

GARDEN. Accessories this season are very green fingered. So get out your pretty gardening kit (you know you can get all the different florals or the variety of colours) and let your obsession grow and blossom. Typically florals are seen in only summer collections and this sort of trend definitely showcases an autumn garden. Like embroidered python skin bags at Chanel, green leather totes at Yves Saint Laurent, leather yellow leaf clutch at Bottega Veneta, yellow and orange leave coloured leather court shoes at Dolce and Gabbana, green stiletto rubber wellingtons at Louis Vuitton and (my personal favourite) a Lanvin crystal and leather choker. The gold roses look like they are covered in winter morning frost when really they are sprinkled with crystals:

Miu Mui

The Autumn/Winter Miu Miu collection had a very 1940s ambiance. Everything from the cut of the dresses to the red lips and clipped back hair. I love it when fashion and history combine like this as I feel these outfits can really transport one back to the WW2 era. A variety of prints and oversized clutches look fabulous.
HIGH STREET FAVE.
Vintage Garden Floral Print Footless Tights, £16, American Apparel

The print of these leggings are quite summery however, leggings are always very useful in winter because bare legs can get a bit chilly and both tights and leggings are a great cover up if you still want to wear shorts or skirts in winter.

Black is quite a wintery colour so black florals gives an original spin on a classic trend. If you look at the shoes up close on the blog then you can see that there is a bird print. These are often seen in an autumn/winter garden, more often than blooming flowers.

MY FAVE.

This top also has bird prints on it as well as leaves and flowers in neutral, wintery tones.
